Hello all,
We have put this page together to support our dear friend Margot, who has had to come face to face with a diagnosis of a rare cancer called Ewing's Sarcoma.
She developed a tumor in her right 9th rib, and will have to go through an extensive chemotherapy treatment for about a year. Her treatment will include inpatient and outpatient chemo, and she will have surgery to fully remove her 9th rib. This type of extensive and aggressive treatment plan would likely render her infertile, and therefore it was advised she go through the process of freezing her eggs before she started treatment. The good news is she was able to successfully harvest eggs before she started chemo (literally 3 hours later!) on March 27th, 2018.
It's going to be a long journey for our girl but she's strong, she's willful, and she's about to kick some cancer ass!
Any love, prayers, and support on her journey is so very appreciated. Her costs for her treatment, freezing her eggs, and having to be out of work for over a year as she moves to Denver for medical care are, as you can imagine, insanely high.
We are hoping to take some of the financial stress off her so she can put all of her energy into healing.
