Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie Bush, and I am raising funds to support friend, neighbor, and member of the Kure Beach community, Mandie Grusznis, in her battle with cancer. Mandie is a kind, energetic, incredible, loving mom of 4 beautiful children ranging from 4 months to 7 years old. She and her husband, Marty, live in King, NC and love to visit their beach home-away-from-home in Kure Beach Village whenever they can. While in Kure Beach you’ll find them swimming at the KBV pool, playing at the beach, or cooking and celebrating life with their neighbors and family.

In early November 2022, the unimaginable happened - Mandie was diagnosed with Stage III cancer. Swept up in a whirlwind of tests, scans, doctors’ visits, and treatments, there has hardly been time to tend to family, home, and the endless duties of life with young children. Mandie has started her treatment and is currently on day 3 of chemotherapy. All proceeds raised by this GoFundMe will go directly to their family to help with childcare, medical expenses, or whatever they need most.
