Rally with Rob - A Statement to Canada and California

RALLY WITH ROB

On October 15, 2024, I made a Pledge to America (X article linked below); I promised this great nation that if Donald John Trump was elected President again, I would close the immigration loophole and renounce my Canadian citizenship. To close the immigration loophole, I must visit the Canadian consulate, turn in a form, and pay a nominal fee. While I could do this easily enough on my own, I am asking for the support and backing of America, and I want to send a clear message to Canada that I am home, and I have the support of however many individuals I can get to follow me to the Canadian Consulate in San Francisco! My intentions are to rent a Tesla Cybertruck and have it temp-wrapped in an American Flag.

I will meet anyone who would follow and support my endeavor near the YMCA in Sacramento (depending on how many supporters commit to traveling with me) and drive through midtown and downtown Sacramento prior to hitting the freeway to the Canadian consulate in San Francisco. I would love to see vehicles with American flags flying, MAGA/MAHA signage, no DEI, no CRT, etc., and lots of great music—everyone showing their undying support for the absolute GREATEST PLACE ANYWHERE! Once I have completed turning in the form to the consulate, we would meet at a public park and have a party! Yes, I want to create a spectacle.

WHY?

I have two unwritten rules in my life—live like you are dreaming, and burn your bridges. It is time to burn my bridges and renounce my Canadian citizenship. My main reason is that I want to send a clear message to Canada—what Canada is doing is so not correct, that people like me are willing to sign off their citizenship to rid themselves of the tyranny and never look back! This also sends a clear message that there is no greater nation anywhere than the United States of America. My hope is that I can attract enough people and gain enough media attention to make people take notice. I wish to support our Commander in Chief, Donald J. Trump, as much as I can in his effort to rid this nation of all of the things the previous administration tried to keep in place. While this will not change my status as a naturalized citizen in the United States, I wish to be a citizen of one nation, and only one nation—this is that nation! This is my dream!

COMING TO AMERICA

On June 7, 2024, I was interviewed to become a citizen of this great nation and was confirmed at the Naturalization event on June 25, 2024. Like many folks seeking immigration, I came to America with dreams and aspirations, and like most immigrants, I have been blessed with opportunity and love America beyond words! Have you ever loved something so much that you just want to take that thing and become one with it? That is my feeling for America, and it is where my story changes from that of a typical person seeking immigration.

I was born and raised in Canada and originally landed in the US in 2007. I applied for and received a work permit and subsequently my Green Card. The Green Card allows you to remain in the country indefinitely, with a renewal every 10 years (unless conditional). I was able to find the perfect companion, now my loving wife, who helped me create two absolutely gorgeous children! I will be honest, though, I was perfectly happy to ride the green card—paying the fee every 10 years and just calling it a day. I didn't see the benefit of naturalizing. Then came the Biden administration.

The Biden administration changed so many aspects of my life I cannot even come up with the words to describe. DEI, CRT, Gender Ideology—all the woke nonsense that has tainted this nation personally touched my entire family in a very negative way, causing some hardship, but being strong individuals, we pushed through. As I saw things go deeper and worsen, I decided that I had to change the way I thought. No longer was I content sitting on the sidelines watching this wonderful nation being ripped apart and destroyed by her supposed protectors. I needed to naturalize, and, as I mentioned above, this was finalized on June 25, 2024. I was now able to cast my vote to ensure that America was repaired and restored to its full glory that was systematically being destroyed by the Biden administration, and participate in my country to the fullest.

So what makes my story any different from any other immigrant? I love this country—beyond words—beyond feeling—beyond anything I can comprehend! This nation and its people have become my mecca, for lack of a better word. While I am a realist and understand I cannot do certain things as a naturalized citizen; running for President, access Super Top Secret information, etc., this does not deter me from my goal. I want to be a citizen of one nation.

THE IMMIGRATION LOOPHOLE

A lot of people are not aware of the loophole that exists between Canada and the United States, and vice versa. When you become a citizen of either nation, you are asked to verbally renounce citizenship to any other nation. This is interpreted, and generally referred to as, a forced renunciation. Neither country acknowledges a forced renunciation, meaning that when you become a citizen of the United States (or Canada), and decide to return, you can—it's not quite the same as having dual citizenship—where you can freely move and live between the two, but you can turn your back on the land you immigrated to and return to your origin. Most naturalized citizens do not do this. I wish to rectify this, and close the loophole by formally renouncing my Canadian Citizenship and encouraging others to go all in as citizens of America, the greatest nation in the world!

CONCLUSION

I, like a lot of you, am tired of DEI, CRT, race division, gender division—all of these things that are designed to keep us Americans apart. One of my first experiences with a man pretending he was a woman in public was when I returned to Canada. My kids were so little and saw this hairy moron at the counter, wearing a powder blue dress, but they were troopers and didn't question why that man was wearing a dress until later, when he wasn't around. My most recent encounter was the other day when my daughter saw a 4B woman walking down the street while we were driving and she turned to me and said: "You know, this is just wrong. It's like they are making fun of cancer patients to get their own way."

How do you respond to that? I want to respond with a Rally with Rob—all patriotic Americans who support our President and the elimination of the tyranny instituted from the last administration—from Sacramento to San Francisco. We need to send a message to, not only Canada, but California—especially Gavin Newsom—that what is going on is not OK. We can do this with this Rally—I want you to help me to demonstrate what makes a nation, its people, and its ideologies great! We can tell both Canada and California, and who knows who else—that we want positive change, a return to sanity and reality. If you'd like to support this endeavor, please donate!
