Rally with Holly Raue & F Cancer 2.0

Last Friday changed the course for Holly and her recovery. As you know, she had a hell of a battle 2 years ago with breast cancer and had just celebrated being a survivor a few weeks ago. Holly was at work on Friday morning when she lost control of her words and was having massive migraines. That led to an immediate trip to the ER where she learned that this awful disease was back again. But this time is was in the brain. And a tumor by the liver & lymph nodes. This is the unthinkable to be delivered this devastating, scary, awful news. The docs worked quickly and performed surgery this morning (Monday 10/16) removing the brain tumor. So very thankful for skilled surgeons, family surrounding her, and Gods hands on her each step of the surgery.

This will be a long road ahead for Holly and her family. Thank you for helping ease some of the financial burden so the whole Raue family can get through this time and be with Holly.

UPDATE 10/18

Good morning, Adam told us last night that things are going well with Holly. She’s sore and has headaches but her brain is functioning well. She completed some “brain challenges” worksheets yesterday morning and did fairly well. She’s recovering in the Neuro ICU. They’re waiting for a follow up MRI and ‘may’ be discharged as early as this afternoon keep those prayers up!
