Our family is asking for help for my brother-in-law Eryk and my sister Havalah in an incredibly difficult time. Over the past few years, they have been facing one challenge after another, and right now they truly need a community to rally around them.

My brother-in-law Eryk has been battling lupus, an autoimmune disease that affects him daily. The fatigue, pain, and medical bills have already taken a toll on their physical, emotional, and financial well-being. He was also recently diagnosed with diabetes which added even more medical expenses, stress, and lifestyle changes to navigate.

Then, in the midst of all of this, Eryk’s car was stolen and later found totaled.

They are still making payments on the vehicle, and unfortunately, the insurance payout will only be enough to cover half of what they owe on it, let alone help them purchase a reliable replacement. Reliable transportation is essential for getting to work, attending frequent doctor appointments, managing treatments, and simply maintaining daily life.

Right now, they are facing medical bills, ongoing treatments, vehicle debt, and the urgent need for dependable transportation — all at once.

We are raising funds to:

Help cover the remaining balance on the totaled vehicle

Assist with a down payment on a safe and reliable car

Ease the burden that they did not need stacked on top of everything else.
