Help Two Families in Crisis – Let’s Be the Village They Need
My name is NaTasha, and I’ve always believed in helping others whenever I could. Quietly, behind the scenes, and with no expectation of recognition just a deep desire to be the kind of support I once needed. But this time, I’m asking you to help me help two families who are truly in crisis.
One is a pregnant mother with young children, struggling to stay housed and who has had their utilities, both water and electricity, disconnected. And another who is now on the verge of disconnection. Both of these families have been fully vetted by me personally. They’ve tried every route we’re aware of and could such as , 2-1-1, social services, local churches but funding is limited, and waiting lists are long. What they need is urgent.
I’ve created this GoFundMe with an initial goal of $5,000 to help cover rent and utility costs for these two families. If we reach that goal and find continued support, I will increase the goal in an effort to assist more families, only after proper vetting, just like I’ve always done. I want to help as many people as we can, together.
What makes this effort different is simple:
I’m not here to take, I’m here to give. I don’t want the kind of karma or bad energy that comes with misusing people’s kindness. That’s not who I am, and that’s not what this is. This isn’t just a GoFundMe. This is a community lifeline.
I simply don’t have the extra to give like I used to. So I’m coming to you, humbly, asking:
If you feel led to give, please do.
If you know of any resources or programs, churches, nonprofits that are actively helping, please send them my way.
And if you’re not in a position to give right now, just sharing this fundraiser can make a world of difference.
I truly believe that we are each other’s answers and if we show up together, we can be the miracle someone’s been praying for.
With all my heart,
NaTasha
