Rally Round the Burdettes

Jeannie Burdette has been part of our family for almost 2 years as our nanny. My kids love her and we care deeply about their family as well. Jeannie's son Matthew was hospitalized with a mysterious condition at the beginning of May, and spent nearly a month in the hospital. After running rounds and rounds of tests with no clear conclusion, they were sent home to rest and (hopefully) recover. Now, it seems Matthew is back in the hospital- and even though I don't know for how long, I know what a toll this has taken on the family.
A month long hospital stay is both psychologically and financially devastating. I know it has had a huge impact on their ability to conduct business as usual and has completely hindered Jeannie's ability to work. Please consider donating something to this wonderful, kind family during this stressful time. It seems that they have a wonderful group of friends to help keep their spirits up- but anyone who has spent time in the hospital knows it is an incredibly financially devastating endeavor.
