On August 10th, Zev was diagnosed with Central Nervous System Lymphoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Thankfully, Zev is being treated by the incredible team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston — the only place in the U.S. specializing in this disease!

The doctors are optimistic about his prognosis, but the road ahead will be long and grueling. Zev has already begun the first phase of treatment: six rounds of in-patient chemotherapy, each requiring a 5-day hospital stay every other week for several months. After that, he will undergo a stem cell transplant to rebuild his immune system, followed by months of recovery. Altogether, this journey will span a year or more.

Despite the challenges, there is much hope! The cancer was caught early, Zev is strong and resilient, and he is surrounded by an incredible medical team and family. True to form, his humor and spirit remain intact.

But, this battle will take a toll emotionally, physically, and financially. Between medical expenses, extended hospital stays, and the strain on family life, Zev and his family need our support more than ever.
