Sushil is just 29 — full of energy, dreams, and the kind of person who wants to make a difference. To his family, he’s been their steady shoulder, their sole provider, their strength. To his friends, he’s the one who always shows up, works hard, and finds a way to help no matter what. That’s the Sushil we all know and love.
But on the morning of August 9, 2025, life turned upside down in the blink of an eye. One moment, he was on the cricket field, laughing with friends and chasing the ball. Next, he collapsed from a massive stroke — something none of us could ever imagine happening to someone so young, so full of life.
They rushed him to the ER as he fought for his life. Within hours, doctors realized how critical things were and airlifted him to Medical City Hospital ER in Plano, Texas. He went through multiple emergency surgeries. Those hours saved him, but they also began a long, painful road — a fight to stand again, to speak, to reclaim the everyday moments we all take for granted.
He is currently in the ER, and doctors expect he will remain there for the next couple of months, with additional surgeries already planned.
Now, every single day for Sushil is a battle. Each small step forward — moving his hand, forming a word — takes immense effort. His family, who once leaned on his strength, is now carrying both the emotional pain of seeing him like this and the heavy financial burden that comes with his care.
And that’s why we are here — because Sushil has always been the one to lift others. He’s been the friend you could count on, the son who gave everything for his family, the guy who worked tirelessly to make everything and everyone better. Today, it’s our turn to lift him.
Here’s where your help will go directly:
- Medical bills not covered by insurance
- Long-term rehabilitation to regain independence
- Food and transportation costs
- Other essential and unexpected expenses as they come
This is a huge mountain to climb, but every single donation — no matter how small — will help ease the weight on his family’s shoulders, give Sushil the care he needs, and keep hope alive during the hardest time of their lives.
If you can, please consider donating, sharing his story, and keeping him in your prayers. Sushil has always fought for others — now let’s fight for him.
