Hello my name is William I am the youngest of five and I'm trying to help raise money for my wonderful mother Wini. She had a scheduled open heart surgery on February 21st and immediately begun having major problems she had an infection internal bleeding and afib less than 24 hours after the surgery and they had to completely open her up again. Ever since it is been a struggle to eat and to do anything that she normally would do. She spent two weeks in the hospital immediately following her first two surgeries she lost the ability to stand and can only walk with a walker but she was able to come home for about two and a half weeks and then some major complications happened. She had to be whisked away in an ambulance to ride out memorial hospital in Marysville where we almost lost her due to the fact she's quit breathing on her own she also picked up an infection and her chest incision at the same hospital she was then transferred to Sutter North in Sacramento for yet another surgery to clean out the infection. She's now lost the ability to stand walk or do much of anything she is a fighter though and has been so brave and so strong through all of this she hasn't complained much and is more concerned about the well-being of all of us than even herself but that's what moms do. She is the strongest and most amazing person I've ever met in my life she's intelligent articulate and so so caring she has lots of grandchildren and great-grandchildren all of which she loves tremendously. Her insurance only covered a walker but not a wheelchair that's something we may have to buy ourselves I'm not sure yet her small savings have been depleted with everything it's takes for her being in there. I've gone in every single day for the past 3 weeks except for one day that she insisted I take off but she does not like being in hospitals and her mental health has suffered greatly so it's so very important to see someone familiar everyday. She is never asked for help before in her life she's always the one helping everyone else so anything helps it's greatly appreciated.
