Rally for Will: Path to Recovery

Will was injured in a serious karting accident that left him with a brain injury, multiple broken bones, and a long, uncertain road ahead. In true Will fashion, his strength and spirit kicked in immediately—just hours after the accident, he was up and walking, defying expectations and giving everyone hope.

But healing is rarely a straight line.

Shortly after being discharged from the hospital, Will suffered a fall that sent him back to the ICU at a Level 1 Trauma Center. Doctors discovered a lumbar fracture and other complications that required urgent care. It was a devastating setback, but again, Will’s resilience showed up. Now back home, he continues to face each day with courage, even as confusion, pain, and exhaustion remain part of his journey.

Through it all, his wife Dawn has stayed by his side, navigating hospital rooms, doctor updates, and the emotional weight of it all with grace and grit. Their son Shon has been incredibly strong, too, showing resilience beyond his years as he supports his dad and anchors his family during an unimaginably difficult time. Presley and Dylan have also been a steady, loving presence throughout, doing everything they can to lift the family up through these challenging days.

As you can imagine, the financial impact of this sudden trauma is significant. Time away from work, medical bills, travel to specialists, and long-term recovery costs are piling up.
