Our beloved Uncle Lou, a pillar of our community, has been unexpectedly detained on an immigration hold, even though no charges have been filed. Uncle Lou is not only a cherished family member, but also a cornerstone of Mills 50, known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his church and community. This fundraiser was created by Alison, who has been a close friend of Uncle Lou for over 18 years. Alison is in direct contact with Uncle Lou’s daughter as well as Representative Anna V. Eskamani, who is helping coordinate legal representation and support for his case. Alison also has a scheduled video call with Uncle Lou to discuss his immediate needs and ensure support is directed appropriately. We are working tirelessly to ensure he gets the legal support he needs.
