On Friday, April 3rd, Tracey Trout’s life changed in an instant. What began as a medical emergency quickly turned into a fight for her life after she suffered a serious blood clot in her lung.
In the days that followed, Tracey coded three times and at one point was gone for a total of 40 minutes. Against all odds, she woke up on Easter morning, Sunday, April 5th, giving her loved ones a moment of hope in the middle of an incredibly difficult time.
Since then, Tracey has remained in the hospital, continuing a long and challenging road to recovery. She is undergoing intensive physical therapy, has a tracheotomy, and is still working to regain her vision. Her strength and determination continue to inspire everyone around her, but the journey ahead will not be easy.
Tracey’s husband, Stanley, has been by her side every step of the way, balancing time at the hospital with the realities of daily life. The emotional toll has been immense and so will the financial burden. Between the life flight, ICU costs, and the need for long-term care and rehabilitation, expenses are quickly adding up.
We are asking for your support to help ease this burden so Stanley and Tracey can focus on what matters most: her healing.
No donation is too small, and every contribution will go directly toward medical expenses, ongoing therapy, and supporting the family during this incredibly difficult time. If you’re unable to give, sharing this page and keeping Tracey in your thoughts means just as much.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
