Help Tim Christman Fight Cancer -- A Legend of Minneapolis Hospitality.
If you've ever had a damn good meal in Minneapolis, there's a chance Tim Christman had something to do with it.
For decades, Tim has been a cornerstone of the Twin Cities food and beverage scene. From slinging butter and conversations at Hope Creamery, to calling on clients such as Glam Doll Donuts, Spyhouse, Honey & Rye, Buttered Tin, Rubies & Rust, 9-5 Landing, and Lunds & Byerlys, Tim's been everywhere -- and knows everyone. A former chef at Woolley’s and Anthony's Wharf, a prolific caterer, and a tireless rep for Street Vision Foods, Juhl Brokerage, and others, Tim has lived and breathed hospitality. He didn't just work in the service industry, he embodied it.
Maybe you saw him on public access TV's "Cooking with Tim" back in the 90's. Maybe he sold you your favorite local jam. Or maybe you've just been lucky enough to hear one of his wildly entertaining stories over brunch with a twinkle in his eye.
Now, Tim needs our help.
Tim was recently diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer, and like many in our industry, he's facing an overwhelming stack of medical bills with a limited safety net to catch him. The man who's fed us, cheered us up, and showed up for friends, family, and strangers alike needs us to show up for him now.
If you know Tim, you know this: He's hilarious. He's irreverent. And he's never asked for help...until now.
Let's help him focus on healing -- not on how he's going to pay for it.
Every dollar goes directly toward Tim's medical expenses, living costs, and ongoing treatments. If you can't donate, sharing this page means the world to us.
We're all better because of Tim. Let's return the love to this legend in the Minneapolis service and hospitality industries.
