Rally for Tiffany's Open Heart Surgery Recovery

Our friend Tiffany had open heart surgery on Wednesday, April 2. The surgery went well and she is on the road to recovery. She needs our help more than ever. She does not have medical insurance and will be relying on emergency Medicaid. I am unsure how much Medicaid will cover.

She has been sick for a few months and the doctors have not been able to diagnose the problem until a few days ago. On Tuesday, April 1, she went to St Anthony Summit Medical Center for another check up. They found that her aorta to be larger than normal. She was taken to St Anthony Hospital in Lakewood via Flight for Life ambulance. She will be there for about a week. Her plans to do her second season of wildland firefighting will not happen anymore.
