On Friday June 6th things changed drastically for the Welden family.
Robert and Angel Welden, along with one of their grandkids, were struck by a vehicle that ended in a terrible wreck. Their vehicle was rolled a number of times, Robert was trapped in the vehicle on the passenger side and had to be cut out by emergency services. His injuries were so severe he was MedFlighted to UAMS in Little Rock. Their granddaughter, Josie, was seen at the hospital and released with a concussion. Both Angel and Robert have extensive injuries and require a significant amount of medical care with rehab to follow. Angel has a broken shoulder, broken rib, broken ankle, bruised bowel, and significant bruising all over her body. Robert sustained a broken and dislocated hip, broken sternum, lacerated kidneys, intestinal bruising, bruised lungs, and multiple broken ribs.
Robert and Angel are very loved grandparents of 5 amazing kiddos as well as parents to 2 adult kids, they are also active church members in their local Family Church. To know the Welden family is to know kindness, generosity, and just good-hearted genuine people.
As we all know the world continues on regardless of events happening in our lives. Mortgages, car payments, insurance, as well as other bills still come and medical expenses add up rapidly. A donation of ANY amount is greatly appreciated as this family will have a long road ahead of them financially, emotionally, physically and mentally.
Robert and Angel are in good spirits but have a long road of recovery ahead of them.
We can all agree that God had his arms wrapped tightly around them when this accident took place, make no mistake this family is BLESSED. With that being said even if you are unable to make a monetary donation we ask that you keep this family in your prayers. We will take all the prayer warriors we can get!
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read our story and can't thank everyone enough for all of the support we have received.
