Hello to all of the Walton’s family, friends, community members both near and

far, prayer warriors, and anyone else who has followed Ray’s journey since his

diagnosis of Glioblastoma last July. As many of you know, Ray was living his best

life with Laura, Grace, Elle, and Audrey. In a very short time frame, Ray’s life

became doctor appointments, MRIs, radiation, chemotherapy, high-dose steroids,

wearing the Optune device, infusions and most recently, a stroke that left him

with limited use of his left side.

For all of us who know Ray, we can appreciate his positive fighting attitude,

hilarious stories, unbelievable courage, true zest for life, and his passion and love

for his family. His battle is far from over, and with every obstacle he faces he still

has victories to be won.

The entire Walton family has greatly appreciated all those who have reached out

and supported them in a million different ways. The time has come when we all

need to RALLY and help them with funding for private home care for Ray. Laura

has been Ray’s primary caregiver since his stroke and while humbled and

reluctant to start a Go Fund Me, it is necessary for her to return to work full-time.

Laura holds the insurance for the family and has started a new role within her

company that will require her to travel much more often.

Daily home care is very expensive and not covered by insurance. Ray needs daily

assistance with bathing, dressing, medication schedules, meal preparation, and

the numerous other tasks that brain cancer and his subsequent stroke have made

impossible on his own. With the help of all of us, we can ease their financial

burden.

The Waltons are amazing people. They are humble, kind, giving, passionate and

now they need our support. Please contribute whatever you can afford to help

them provide the additional care Ray needs. He and the entire family greatly

appreciate all of the support they have received. Ray will not be giving up his

battle!!!
