Meet the Ekemon family! Evariste (father), Sonia (mother), Catherine, Florine & Isaac. They live right here in your community and some of the sweetest people I know. The Ekemon’s are refugees from Africa. Evariste and Sonia have worked very hard to make a living for their family.  Evariste has just recently been diagnosed with Liver cancer and is not able to work much at all. He takes pride in providing for his family and struggles with the fact that he can not take care of them financially. Sonia does all that she can but is very limited with 3 young children still at home.

Evariste has been doing treatments for his sickness but has had obstacles that have made it difficult to beat this cancer.  Medical bills are growing, and they are just hoping for a miracle. Sonia told me she does not care if they are homeless, she just wants her kids to have a dad to grow up and make memories with….  

 If you are like me, I am very blessed to be financial stable but sometimes take it for granted.  This family has never taken life for granted. They are so grateful to be living here in the USA and have the freedoms that they did not have in Africa. PLEASE GIVE what you can to help them get through this trial. Anything will help.
