Rally for Sue, Debbie, and David's New Beginning After Fire
Donation protected
Hello Everyone,
On the night of May 2nd, 2025, a terrible fire broke out at a senior apartment complex in South Burlington. Over 50 residents have been displaced, including our dear friends, Sue Bergeron, her sister Debbie, and brother David. They are safe, and thankfully were able to also save their three family cats: Belle, Jackson, and Simba. They were only able to retrieve the barest of essentials.
Right now, the siblings are facing a very tough situation, and so much uncertainty. They need help to find temporary housing, replace basic necessities, and cover living expenses for the next several months. At this point, it is estimated it will take months before they’ll be able to move back home, if at all.
Sue, Debbie, and David are incredible people. They’re all from the Bergeron family in Winooski. They are supportive, generous, and always willing to help others out of the kindness of their hearts. They have repeatedly put others before themselves. They're going through a heartbreaking trauma, and we want to do everything possible to ease their burden. If you can help out, even a little, it would mean so much.
Every dollar donated will directly support them as they try to piece their lives back together. Let's rally around Sue, Debbie, and David to show them they're not alone, and others are willing to help them as they have helped support many others throughout the years.
Thanks so much for your kindness and generosity.
