Hello Everyone, as some of you may know, my amazing husband Steve and loving father to our children has been battling health issues for several years now. He is a very private, independent person who has navigated everything with grace and his tremendous faith in GOD. Recently, things took a turn for the worse, and on July 21st, at a routine doctor's appointment, he was rushed to the hospital for what was later described to us as the start of a "Widow Maker." He was actively having a heart attack as he was rushed to the emergency room and prepped for surgery. On July 22nd, he received multiple stents to open the blockages in his heart. The doctors saved his life, and after a couple of days in the hospital, he is now recovering at home, where he is being monitored closely moving forward.

I handle the finances for our family, and for various reasons, we do not have health insurance. So even though this is not how Steve would have hoped to handle this, as his wife and after speaking to our family, I have decided to start a GoFundMe to help with the extremely large medical bills associated with the recent turn in his health. I am reaching out, asking any of those he has ever impacted or to anyone out there for help to ensure we can pay all the doctor and hospital bills for the procedures and the doctors that saved his life.
