Hi. My name is Shonda. My long-time friend, Stephen Ingram and his family are dealing with a tragedy in their family. On Jan 10th, Stephen was admitted to the hospital for stomach pains. On Jan 16th, he had to have emergency surgery to remove a mass on his spine. Doctors diagnosed him with stage 4 prostate cancer. Now he has to start chemotherapy and radiation therapy. The cancer medicine is very expensive.

The same day, Stephen’s wife was also admitted to another hospital. She was diagnosed with CHF. The doctors attempted to place a pacemaker, but it was unsuccessful. They were told she has maybe 6 months to live. But in 3 weeks' time, she declined dramatically. On February 27th, she was placed in hospice. Stephen has had to put his own health aside to care for his wife and to be strong for his kids. His wife has not passed away yet, but the doctors are saying any day. We are trying to raise money for his wife's funeral and to help him with his cancer treatment and medicine due to him not being able to work at this time.
