My husband, Scott Zweifel, recently had a bad accident while riding his new motorcycle. He had a run-in with a dead tree, and landed in the hospital with multiple fractures in his ribs, collar bone and pelvis. Also a punctured lung and a concussion. He's been in the hospital since August 10th, 2025. He should be transferring to a skilled nursing facility soon, but no idea for how long. This will result in probably months away from work and play. The hospital has been wonderful but is outside of our insurance network. So, we have no idea how large our billing will become. Also, the motorcycle, (which took less damage than he did) will need repairs, and gear replacement.

So many friends, family, coworkers and acquaintances have asked how they can help, and we think this is a good way. We intend that any funds raised in excess of what is eventually needed in our case, will be paid forward to others who end up in a predicament like his.
