Yesterday, our beloved brother, Sam, at the young age of 37, was unexpectedly taken from us after suffering a sudden seizure followed by a full cardiac arrest. He was with his mother, Teresa who he lived with, during his last moments, and she endured over an hour of EMTs tirelessly trying to revive him before he was ultimately gone.

There are no words to truly capture this pain—the shock, the ache, the deep emptiness that follows such an unimaginable loss. Our hearts are shattered. Sam was so much more than a brother; he was a devoted father to his 13-year-old daughter, Raelynn, a loyal friend, son, brother to Kim, Larry, and Joshua, and a protector. Raelynn is now left without her father, facing a future without his guidance, love, and support.

As we grapple with this immense grief, his mother, who was by his side until the very end, is now faced with the unexpected and significant financial burden of funeral expenses and other immediate costs. She is left to navigate this devastating loss while also shouldering these expenses alone.
