Hello, my name is Val Gray. Sally Wiker is a beloved friend and we consider her part of our family. I’m doing a little update. This coming week Sally has survived a double lung transplant for 12 years. The drug she takes to keep her lungs from rejecting her have wreak havoc with her health, of course. She has been working for the last few years and we’re hoping that she can go back to work, but we don’t know.
Anything that you can give no matter how small or big will help her financially to exist for a few months without having to work at this point.
She’s been working for several years and really doing well, but this year has been a challenge. She fell and hurt her back, and then she got a severe infection that put her in the hospital and out of work for the next several months. She needs to pay rent, utilities, insurance, and food and household items.
Sally is a humble and gentle woman. The last thing she wanted to do was put her needs out there and possibly burden others. I spoke with her about this and we agreed, asking was necessary.
From the smallest to the largest gift, we thank you from our hearts. God bless you all, and please pray for Sally. She will be on IV antibiotics for another 4 weeks at least, maybe longer.
Thank you
