Rally For Ryan - Medical Emergency & Living Expenses

Hi, I’m Brandon, raising funds for my brother, Ryan, who’s fighting for his life in the ICU—and for his young family. Just a few months ago, he and his wife welcomed their newborn baby, Raiden. What began as pneumonia and the flu turned into a literal nightmare: his lungs failed, his heart stopped, and his kidneys shut down. Now, he’s on an ECMO machine [see photo]—oxygenating his blood and pumping it because his heart and lungs can’t—plus a ventilator to breathe for him and dialysis to replace his kidneys. Doctors added a heart pump when his left side quit, and just recently, he developed AFib, an irregular heartbeat complicating everything.

We don’t know when he’ll leave the hospital, but even after release, he’ll need dialysis three times a week for at least three months—hundreds per session, on top of bills from ECMO and the ventilator, which cost thousands daily. Ryan, can’t work, leaving his wife to care for their baby while medical costs pile up. Their mortgage and household bills are not going to stop, and without his income, they risk losing their home.

I’m stepping in to help, but we need you. We’re aiming for $15,000: to keep up with their mortgage, monthly living expenses and the rest for dialysis and medical expenses as he fights to come home.
