Rally for Ryan Rardon's Healing Journey

Welcome to the GoFundMe page dedicated to my older brother, Ryan Rardon.
I want to start out by thanking each and every one of you for taking a moment to show your support by visiting his page. You didn't have to do that, but here you are, and for that alone, our family is immensely grateful.

In the early evening of October 6th, during what Ryan anticipated as being a casual motorcycle ride to the local barber, he was struck by a vehicle and thrown from his bike. Ryan was transported to Kootenai Health via EMS where he received highly skilled and timely intervention from orthopedic and vascular surgeons to repair 6 fractures in his left leg, two of which were compound fractures requiring rod and wire placement. Ryan sustained additional damage to his Talus (ankle) and Urethra/Bladder. The blood flow in Ryan's leg is being monitored very closely, as only 1 of 3 arteries at the time of surgery was working properly. Blood flow is extremely important to prevent potential lower extremity amputation.

It is difficult to predict what Ryan's recovery is going to look like right now, with so many pending factors involved. What we do know is that his recovery will take time, an absence from work, and many unforeseen and unexpected expenses along the way.

For those of you who know Ryan, and for those who don't, there is no one kinder and more genuine than this man. Ryan is coveted as a gentle and steadfast soul, despite all obstacles thrown at him. He has always extended every ounce of energy caring for and supporting others without any expectation or desire for anything in return. He is arguably the gentlest soul and deserving of all our love and support as he adjusts to what may come of this traumatic event.
In true Rardon form, I know Ryan will never ask a single person for anything, no matter how severe the situation may be. Stubborn Irishman, I tell ya!
So, it remains my duty as his little sister, to continue my dedicated role as his biggest bully and advocate during this most deserving time.

In closing, I just have to reiterate how grateful our family is to each and every one of you for your support, however that may look. Please share Ryan's story with others so we can rally as many people behind him as he navigates his recovery!
Keep praying! They are working!
