Our dear friend Ryan, a vital part of the Heron Farm & Event Center family, recently suffered a serious hand injury shortly after returning to full-time work for the busy season. His injury required surgery, resulting in the partial loss of two fingers, and he may still need additional procedures as part of his recovery. While we are incredibly grateful that the injury was not even worse, the road to recovery will be long, painful, and financially challenging for Ryan and his family.
If you know the Heron, you know Ryan, and know that he is one of the very few people everyone can count on to keep things running smoothly. His dedication, hard work, and quiet willingness to help others makes him truly irreplaceable. Right now, Ryan needs the same support he has so often given to others, whether at work or in his free time.
Being out of work during one of the busiest and most important times of the year could not have come at a worse time. While this did not happen at the farm, as his Heron family and friends, we want to help ease the burden — physically, financially, and emotionally — so that he and his family can focus fully on healing, not on the stress of lost income and mounting expenses.
We are asking our community to rally around him the way he has always shown up for all of us. Any donation, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. And if you are unable to give, sharing this fundraiser is just as valuable!
We've set up this fundraiser on behalf of Ryan and his family, all proceeds will go directly to the family for living expenses and medical bills.
Thank you for helping us support Ryan and his family during this difficult time. Let’s show him how much he means to all of us!
