Your entire house floods over Thanksgiving break!
Living in a small hotel room until renovations get done!
Almost done with renovations and your house gets robbed, and I mean robbed!
Ya'll! It's time to come together and lend a hand to my little brother and his wife! They were worship leaders for 4 years at Gateway Church in Austin. Over the last 4 months, they have been listening and waiting to hear where God is calling them next.
Over Thanksgiving break, they got a call from their neighbor saying their fire alarm was going off, so he went inside only to discover a completely flooded home! Ross and Lauren had to gather what they could salvage and move into a hotel room. Needless to say, the walls are closing in!
God provided a contractor quickly and renovations started right away. They got word last week that the flooring would be done soon and they could move back in! Lauren is needing to nest before this little blessing joins their family! They were excited!
Yesterday, they got word that their front window had been busted out and their house was robbed. They took everything of value, sentimental items that cannot be replaced and Ross and Lauren's peace of mind. Our homes are our sanctuary and Ross and Lauren are emotionally spent. All of this has happened in the last 8 weeks.
