Please Help Support the Towne Family

Our amazing friends, the Towne Family, are going through something no family should ever have to face. Ron Towne, the loving husband and dad at the heart of this family, has been diagnosed with bile duct cancer and is now in urgent need of a liver transplant.

Due to challenges with previous health care providers, the family has been released from their insurance coverage and won’t be eligible for new coverage until next year. In the meantime, Ron is receiving care from the right doctors and hospitals, but the Towne family is being forced to pay for all of his medical expenses out of pocket.

The Townes are an incredible family who mean so much to so many — especially in the volleyball community and beyond. They’ve been a huge part of the MB Sand Family, been there cheering on players, and giving their love and support to others in countless ways over the years. Now it’s our turn to rally behind them with that same generosity and strength they’ve always shown everyone else.

Despite everything they’re facing, the Townes have stayed hopeful, faithful, and full of love. The financial strain, however, is enormous. We’re asking friends, family, and the extended community to come together to help lift some of this burden so they can focus on what really matters: Ron’s fight and his healing.
