My dog Romeo is a 12-year-old Pomeranian who has been with me since birth. Over the years, Romeo has been more than just a pet—he has been my family, my companion, and my source of comfort through every season of life.
Recently, Romeo was diagnosed with grade 3 collapsing trachea, a condition common in his breed but devastating to witness. He now struggles to breathe and needs a stent placed in his windpipe to ensure he can continue living comfortably and peacefully. The funds raised will go directly toward his surgery, the stent itself, necessary medications, and follow-up care to give him the best possible quality of life in his golden years.
I have nurtured, loved, and cared for Romeo for 12 years unwaveringly. There were many days and nights where Romeo was my sole companion, filling in the gaps when I had no one else. He has been there through the best years of my life and also some of the worst. We have truly faced this world together, and when his time comes, I will release him gracefully, knowing we have lived a full life together. But this is not Romeo's time—he still has a healthy will to live and pushes on despite how much he is struggling. Please help me honor Romeo's service to me by making the rest of his time here comfortable. Your support will help me give life back to him that he has given to me for so many years. Any amount counts and we are grateful even if you simply read and share our story.
