My name is Tammy Finger, and I’m raising funds for my brother Roger Strange, who lives in Mesa, Arizona. On the morning of March 30, Roger was in a serious car accident while driving home from work. He was T-boned by another driver and had to be cut out of his vehicle by emergency responders using the jaws of life. He suffered multiple severe injuries, including broken ribs, a fractured pelvis, hip, shoulder, and clavicle. Roger spent five days in the hospital and is now in a rehabilitation facility, facing a long and uncertain recovery that could take several months before he is able to return to work.
Roger is an over-the-road truck driver who works incredibly hard and gets very few days off. Even with that, he spends his precious few days off helping others. He lives in a retirement community, where he is the youngest resident. On his days off, he is always fixing things and helping his neighbors in some capacity—he’s someone the entire community knows and loves. Unfortunately, Roger only had liability coverage on his vehicle and does not have medical insurance through his employer. Medical bills are already piling up, and with him unable to work, the financial strain is overwhelming. On top of this, his rent is due for the year in September, making this situation even more difficult.
We are hoping to raise money to help cover medical expenses, rent, and basic living expenses while Roger focuses on healing. If you are able to donate, we are incredibly grateful. If not, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much to us. Thank you for your support, prayers, and kindness during this very difficult time.
