Hi family and friends, I am Melissa Brethauer, Rod & Darla Lohr's oldest daughter.
On September 27th, 2024, my dad got the news that he has colon cancer, and in October they classified it as Stage 3. My siblings and I have been praying over this for a while, and we would like to help raise funds for our parents to ease the burden of medical bills that will continue to stack up through this journey. The family has also set up a Venmo account as another option for donations.
Dad will be doing chemo for 6 months, and then do chemo/radiation for up to 12 weeks, and then possibly surgery after that.
