"Rally for Robert" Morrison Support Fund

Hello, my name is Susan Caldwell. I started this page for my brother and mom, Robert and Martha Morrison. On Saturday evening, June 18th, Robert was working fervently to clean up the remainder of his yard clippings in front of his home when he was struck by a car. The driver of the vehicle left the scene without attempting to help or notify the police. The accident has caused multiple serious injuries: facial fractures, fractures in the neck, skull fractures, brain bleeds and swelling, vascular problems, broken ribs, and broken left arm and right leg. He is facing multiple surgeries and lengthy rehabilitation.

Robert is the primary caregiver for our mother; therefore, this tragic accident has impacted the entire household. Robert receives disability due to his lengthy bout with crippling rheumatoid arthritis, which is his only source of income. Martha, our mom, receives social security and has a small rental income. Robert is on Medicare and Medicaid, but we are unsure how much these will cover the astronomical expenses.

Robert and Martha are lifelong Marietta, Georgia residents and love the Church and community. We have seen how much the Church and community love them. We want to thank the churches and community for all they have done to help thus far. Your support will help cover medical bills and living expenses. Our family’s trust is in the Lord!
