Hi, everyone. I'm reaching out today with a heavy heart for my son-in-law, Robert Vessecchia, who was involved in a serious motorcycle accident yesterday. On Erie Heights and Sunrise Highway, Robby was struck by an SUV, leaving him a long journey to recovery.

Thankfully, the doctors are optimistic about Robert's outcome, but the road ahead will be challenging. His injuries are extensive, including a fractured hip and shoulder, 20 stitches along the left side of his head, and many other injuries. There is also blood on the brain, and doctors are waiting for the swelling to subside to fully assess the extent of his injuries.

He's facing months of recovery and rehabilitation, which means he won't be able to work. Robby has already faced so many challenges in his life, each time emerging stronger and more resilient. He's always been the rock for his family, the one they lean on for support and guidance. To his friends, he's the guy you can always count on, no matter what. And above all, he's an incredible father, always putting his children first.

Knowing Robby, this immobility is going to be especially tough on him. He's always been on the go, whether it's working hard to provide for his family, helping a friend in need, or just enjoying life to the fullest. Being sidelined like this will be a huge adjustment, but we know he's got the strength, support of family, and determination to get through it.

As the sole provider for his family, this accident has created an immense financial burden. Not only is it recovery but paying bills at home, medical debt, and putting food on the table. Adding to the stress, his motorcycle was totaled in the accident, and he still owes payments on it. This was one of his first rides on the new bike.
