Rally for Robby & Judy - Home, Health & Hope
Donation protected
For those of you who may not know me or my parents - I'm reaching out on behalf of my amazing parents, Robby and Judy Zimmer, who are going through one of the most challenging times of their lives:
During the severe thunderstorm Saturday evening (6/7/2025), a massive tree came crashing down on their home, causing significant damage to the house and their vehicles. The impact has left them with a long road of recovery - not just physically repairing their property, but also financially trying to manage the sudden burden of cleanup, repairs, and insurance deductibles that come along with it.
To make things even more difficult, this tragic event comes shortly after my mom, Judy, had to have a triple bypass surgery this past October and is now facing serious complications from blood clots that require further medical intervention to help her walk. It's been a storm on every front it seems - and it's more than anyone should have to handle alone.
If you know Robby and Judy, you know how amazing they are. You know how much they love to give to those around them no matter the need. They've been the ones to lend a helping hand, give you their time, and support those that are in need countless times.
It's now our turn to give back to them! I've always taken great pride in helping and supporting my parents, but I am afraid this event is too big for just me. While they would never ask for help themselves, I know the people of Cherokee County and beyond have big hearts and strong ties - and I know that together we can help lift some of this weight off their shoulders!
Every donation, no matter the amount, will go towards:
- Insurance Deductibles
- Immediate Cleanup Costs
- Temporary Living Expenses (since their kitchen was also impacted)
- Ongoing Medical Bills for my mom, Judy
We also welcome highly trusted contacts for cleanup efforts: dumpsters, heavy equipment operators, car removal (Mom's debit card was compromised so in the midst of getting a new card issued and re-setting up autopay for their insurance, their payment lapsed. Therefore, they did not have active auto insurance for this event).
Please consider sharing this campaign and/or giving what you can, whether it be in the form of a donation, a trusted contact, or sending over meals during this time. Let's show Robby and Judy that they are NOT alone, and that we stand with them now just like they've stood with us so many times before!
Thank you all for your love, support, and prayers.
With Gratitude,
