Help Support Rob Bletz, Jr. in His Fight Against Brain Cancer
Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers —
We are reaching out to ask for your support for our beloved brother, husband, father, and friend, Robert Bletz, Jr. — affectionately known as Rob.
In April of this year, while on a family vacation, Rob suffered a seizure that turned our world upside down. After a series of tests, Rob was diagnosed with a Grade 2 Astrocytoma, a type of brain tumor. Since then, life has been a whirlwind of doctor visits, scans, consultations, and planning for what comes next.
Rob is only 45 years old. He is the proud father of three amazing boys, a devoted husband, a caring son, and a loving brother. He has always been the one to show up, pitch in, and lift others up. Now it’s our turn to be there for him.
He is currently being treated by an exceptional team at Yale New Haven, and we are incredibly grateful to share that his prognosis is good. Treatment includes radiation, chemotherapy, and potentially surgery. He’s facing this fight with courage and strength, but the road ahead is long.
Rob has been out of work since mid-April and will remain on short-term disability through at least October. As you can imagine, medical bills, travel expenses, and everyday household costs are starting to pile up — all while he focuses on healing.
We’ve created this GoFundMe to help relieve some of that financial burden so Rob and his family can focus on what truly matters: his health and recovery.
If you are able, please consider donating to help support Rob and his family during this incredibly difficult time. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference and is deeply appreciated. If you’re not in a position to give, sharing this page with your network would mean the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you.
With love and gratitude,
The Bletz Family
