Support RJ Through His Ongoing Medical Journey
For those who know RJ, you know he's faced stomach issues since birth. He had intussusception when he was a baby, then underwent surgery for a hiatal hernia at 19, and now, as a young adult, he’s having issues with GERD and additional complications stemming from the fact that he no longer has a spleen.
Unfortunately, RJ’s insurance is limited and only covers about half the cost of his recent endoscopy and colonoscopy. On top of that, the anesthesiologist and doctor each billed separately, adding to his financial strain.
The good news: the tests ruled out cancer. But it did reveal irritation in the lining of his stomach, and further testing is needed to determine whether it’s caused by a bacterial infection or something more serious that could require surgery.
RJ is doing his best to deal with this, but the growing medical costs have been overwhelming. We're asking friends, family, and anyone moved by his story to help ease some of the financial burden. Any amount of support is deeply appreciated—and means the world to him during this tough time.
