Rally for Ricky: Heart and Healing Journey

Hi Everyone,

I’m Bob Franco, good friends of the Moreno family from the South Texas area. The Moreno family whom i’ve been fortunate to meet majority of the family, are a wonderful family who would give you the shirt off their backs. A good majority live in Uvalde, TX and they were plagued by that horrific event. Additionally, Ricardo (Rico) & Martha Moreno’s oldest son Ricky has an unforgiving heart condition. An ex Air Force veteran & aircraft mechanic for over 30 years. This heart condition that Ricky has to deal with makes it necessary for him to wear two lifesaving batteries at his sides at all times to keep him alive. I’ve worked with Ricky on several occasions, and he never lets his ailment get in the way. Always happy & cracking jokes is 2nd nature for him.

Recently, he had to visit the hospital for a non related sickness, and it went from bad to worse. He was given too much blood thinners, and it created a brain aneurism. They had to induce a coma to prevent any brain damage. Being a single dad with beautiful little girl & a wonderful fiancée. He’s finally out of the hospital, and on to the road to recovery. Learning to speak again, and other basic life skills. Please join me & the Moreno family to help Ricky to get back on his feet again.
