Hello everyone my name is Tracey this fundraiser is for my brother Ricky. He was diagnosed with lung and back cancer in August of 2024. It has spread to his legs. In October 2024 they gave him 6 months to live. He can no longer walk at all. He was getting disability already for something unrelated to this. But being he is unable to walk and unable to do some of that simple things in life that we take for granted. Such as bathing, walking to get something to drink he can't do. He is always in his bed or in wheelchair. His wife worked a 40 hour a week job but she has had to take a leave is absence with no pay. His check every month don't pay half of their bills. He has had to pay for doctor visits, medicine which we know is very expensive. His Medicare is not much help for him now. And they get no help from social services I don't understand why but they are not eligible. I'm trying to raise money for them to be able to pay the rest of their bills. She had no choice but to stay at home. Hospice is coming 2 times a week which is a help. But they have groceries, lights, car insurance etc to pay for.

If you can help him at all him and our family will me so thankful. I know times are hard for everybody right now. If all you can do is say a prayer we will be thankful for that. He has worked his whole life. He is a great man and I'm not saying that just because he is my brother although I might be partial. He is so prideful that it took a lot of talking to convince him to let me do this at all. I will add pictures from August until the present and there is a huge difference. He may may not have long to live but giving him and my sister in law a couple months of no worrying would make our families heart so happy.

I know the sun will shine a lot less bright in my world without my brother in it. He is half of my heart and me not being able to help him is painful to me. I pray that God will give my brother and our family the strength to get thru this. Thank you in advance you any help you can give to my brother and his family.
