Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are reaching out to share the story of someone near and dear to the Blackhawk community, Chef Richie Cruze, our Falls Club House Chef. He has brought joy to countless number of people though his incredible food, positive personality and hard work. He’s not just a chef but a friend to many of us, and now he needs our help.

Richie was recently diagnosed with testicular germ cell cancer, a diagnosis that has turned his life upside down. He has undergone extensive chemotherapy and is now facing a critical surgery. Despite his strength and determination, this battle has left Richie and his newlywed wife, Juliet, unprepared for the overwhelming financial burden.

Richie has always been there for us, creating moments of connection and joy through his food and presence. Now it’s our turn to give back. We’ve created a GoFundMe campaign to help Richie and Juliet cover medical expenses, recovery costs, and other unforeseen financial challenges.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 to ease their financial stress during this incredibly challenging time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference and help Richie focus on what matters most: his health and recovery.
