Richie was taken to the ER Saturday, March 22, after he noticed a lump. Doctors were concerned, and he was in surgery the next morning at 6 am to remove it. Bloodwork and testing revealed that Richie has Lymphoma. At 13 years old, Richie has been dealt a card that no 13-year-old should have to face. Richie is a very athletic, polite, and determined young man. Just one week prior to surgery, Richie was competing in the OAC Junior High State wrestling tournament after picking up wrestling approximately 6 months prior. His grit and passion have inspired his peers and mentors. Now we need to rally for Richie!

Richie is still undergoing testing but will have to go through chemotherapy treatments while inpatient at Cincinnati Children's Medical Center. He will be there for approximately 4 weeks. Richie's family will have to take time off work to navigate Richie's health journey. We are raising funds to alleviate some of the burden of household expenses as well as cover medical costs.
