Help Keep Aunt Rhonda in Her Home & Support Her Health Needs

Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

We're reaching out on behalf of our beloved aunt, Rhonda Stewart, who is in need of our help during this challenging season of her life. Rhonda is a proud mother to one son and has always been a strong, independent woman who has shown love and kindness to everyone around her. Now, we have the chance to show that same love and support back to her.

Rhonda has always been there for her family. In recent years, she endured the heartbreaking loss of her mother, one brother, and two sisters. Throughout their illnesses, Rhonda selflessly traveled from Houston, Texas, to New York, using all of her leave from work to be by their side. Now, after having exhausted all of her leave, Rhonda faces her own health challenges. Without leave, every time she’s hospitalized or has to leave work unexpectedly, she doesn’t get paid. This has put her home at risk, and she urgently needs $1,200 by this coming Friday to save her home from foreclosure. We're aiming to raise a total of $2,000. The additional $800 will go towards covering her medical co-pay and follow-up visits with her heart specialist which is $150.00 and $650.00 for her mortgage for an additional month so she is ahead while her health issues are being addressed.

In addition to the GoFundMe, we’re also organizing two fundraisers this week in Houston, Texas. Rhonda will be making plates of food and cupcakes, so if you’d prefer to purchase something rather than donate directly, that’s another wonderful way to contribute. Rhonda has given so much of herself to her family and her community, and now it’s our turn to be there for her. Any donation, big or small, will make a huge difference in helping Rhonda keep her home and focus on her health.
