Hello, I am Manuel Hernandez his father and this is Jeremiah Hernandez age 20one of my youngest son's 2nd accident within 3 months. The cover photo is from his current accident that happened on the 29th of June. He was heading down Hwy 78 when a hot shot driver pulled out in front of him, and he slammed into the pointed rear of the trailer. He has been in ICU since the 29th, where they removed most of one kidney and placed stents and coils on the remaining part of the kidney in order to try and save what was left. He has had severe internal bleeding, and most of his organs are inflamed from the impact. His pancreas is also damaged. They have tried numerous times on several different days to get in and try to save the pancreas but have failed each time because of way too much inflammation with all his organs. They do have his stomach temporarily sealed with a wound vac to allow access. The other pictures are from his accident 3 months ago, where he had severe road rash and plates and rods put in his arm. The motorcycle pics, of course, are from before and after.

Everything is still touch and go with numerous things that can still go wrong, and of course, this will be a long road to recovery with ongoing health issues that could come from all of this trauma to his organs. But he is young and healthy, and I am praying for the best possible outcome for my youngest son. No parent should have to see their child go through tough times like this, but unfortunately, it happens every day. All we can do is put things in the Lord's hands and ask for mercy. One of the worst parts of the accident is the hot shot driver that pulled out in front of my son never stopped. They left and didn't render any type of help and just left the scene of the accident.

I am not one to ask anyone for help, but in these types of situations, I have no choice but to reach out for some assistance. Hopefully, some of you out there will find a place in your heart to help with anything you can to help pull us through these difficult times.
