Hello FB Family & Friends. A lot of you may have seen me posting recently where I was in Dr's Regional Hospital for 10 days. Covid +, Covid pneumonia, Sepsis, Hypoxia, A-Fib were my main diagnoses. I failed the 6 minute walk test to see if I needed Oxygen. I de-satted to 82% after 1 min & 58 seconds. So, I have a new friend, "Flow, my Oxygen Buddy " My Oxygen mascot is a stuffed pink flamingo. I've been home since 9/11 & my doctor won't let me return to work yet, plus my employer is NOT going to be able to let me return to work wearing Oxygen. I work(ed) Night Audit at a hotel here in Rockport. I have to see the Pulmonary Dr. 10/7 & see where I stand. I am so discouraged. I post this GoFundMe with a heavy, anxious, & embarrassed heart. I don't ask people for help, but family & friends, I have prayed about this & I need help. I share a house with my sister & my niece, but they, too, obviously have their own expenses. My Dr has suggested I apply for SSI & SS Disability due to the above, Long Covid scarring of the lungs/Asthma-now COPD, Microcytic Anemia, A-Fib, among a few other diagnoses I have had for a while. So, I physically can't work for awhile, & I now have no income, but I still have prescriptions to pay for, Dr's co-pays to pay for, & my monthly bills. Again, I feel embarrassed to even have to ask, but can you, family & friends, help me out? Any small amount will help pay for something.
