Rally for Paula Gilson: Overcoming Cancer Together

Paula Gilson is looking for a little help from her people. Paula has served and taken care of just about every person here in Starke county. She has worked as a server in Family Cafe and more recently Christos. If you’re not sure if she’s ever been your waitress just think if you’ve ever had someone that has made you laugh or maybe even accidentally spilt coffee on you or someone you know. Or had a fun waitress that knew exactly how you like your eggs but maybe not your name, if so, then Paula has taken care of you.

I’m making this go fund me for my mom, Paula, because she is now the one needing help. My mom is currently in IU hospital undergoing testing and potential surgery and treatment for stage IV cancer. We have only just received this news two weeks ago and have been completely blindsided. My mom hasn’t been able to work since the beginning of October due to a hip replacement and is now uncertain of the future. As you all know bills do not care if you’re unable to work, they still come. If you are able to help in any way we would all be so very appreciative. Thank you all so much.
