Dear family & friends we are never the ones to ask for help or hand-outs, unfortunately, our lives have hit a bumpy road. Our love, Dad, Paul & known to so many kids as Pa, was diagnosed with incurable Stage 4 Metastatic Prostate Cancer on March 28th 2025. Wow what a blow!!! He had just finished his year of immunotherapy for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, CLL. Him and mom went in for his scan ready to celebrate being cancer free and in remission. His tests came back with the worst possible outcome, not only did we not know he had any prostate cancer but it had already meta stated. Devastated, scared, pissed…why was this not detected sooner??? Then the oncologist gave him less than 6 months to live with chemo as the only cure. If y’all know Paul McMurray you know he would fight for his wife over life itself. He would give the shirt off his back for any family or friends…shit he’d give his shirt to a stranger that needed it. As of now Pa has gone through 2 Chemo treatments which put him in the hospital for the last 2.5 weeks with a reaction to Chemo, severe Pneumonia, and more unknowns. As of yesterday he was admitted to ICU…we are here praying for recovery but are also fearing everything. Mom & Dad need all the love, prayers and support y’all can give!!!
