"Preparing for battle" are the words that our friend Paul Lewis used the night before his first round of chemotherapy to treat Stage 4 cancer. Paul made it through that first round easily, with "optimistic denial." GO PAUL!

Paul’s resilience, grace, and dedication to his craft have inspired his friends at the Berkshire Art Center to create this fundraiser to help meet the cost of his ongoing treatments.

For those of you who don't know Paul: he is a lifelong artist, a printmaker, ceramicist, and music lover. In 2022, Paul participated in the Dance for Social Justice Community Residency at Jacob's Pillow with the NYC-based choreographer Ronald K. Brown to further explore his interest in dance.
