The Backstory:
My name is Christina Kim, and I am writing this on behalf of my sister's family. My brother-in-law, Tom Brady, is currently undergoing an extensive medical workup due to a questionable mass being noted on a recent head MRI. 

Around Christmas time in 2019, Tom was experiencing symptoms of an excruciating headache, vertigo, nausea, and loss of his voice. A trip to the ER, followed by the ENT, recommended a head MRI. On these images, a small, questionable mass was found in the cerebellum (brain stem). 

Tom and Michelle have 3 young children, and due to the nature of their work (Electrician and Birthworker) they do not have the advantage of getting paid time off. Every doctor's visit is a day out of work, which means a missed paycheck. Their medical bills are already starting to pile up, all the while without a concrete diagnosis. Extensive lab work, more images and procedures are currently being performed while Tom is being cared for by both a Neuro-oncologist and Neurosurgeon.

The Cost:
Due to the nature of Tom’s union's health insurance, Tom and Michelle are still having to pay for 20% of all services after meeting their deductible. The head/spine MRI and CT scan alone costs over $3,000 after insurance. This journey will be a long and arduous one, regardless of the final diagnosis.

Any donation, however small, will help. Your contribution will go towards Tom's medical bills, groceries, and to relieve the burden they are facing due to their sudden loss of income.
