Help Our Sister Heal After a Horse Accident

Our sister has spent her life doing what she loves - caring for horses, training them, and teaching others to ride. She’s been a horse trainer for over 20 years and is one of the most generous, kind-hearted people we know.

Recently, she was in a freak accident while working with a horse. She doesn’t remember exactly what happened, but she fell hard and broke two vertebrae and a rib. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, and when doctors found fluid around her heart, she had to be life-flighted to Pensacola. Thankfully, it was determined that the fluid was not life-threatening, but the cost of the life flight alone is estimated to be between $30,000 and $70,000.

During this process, doctors also discovered she may have thyroid cancer. She’s now facing a long road of recovery and uncertainty.

Her entire income comes from horses - giving lessons, training, and working hands-on everyday, so being unable to work (and possible cancer diagnosis) has put an incredible strain on her family.
