50501 Omaha: Rage Against The Regime!

“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” --Ghandi

The 50501 Movement's next nationwide day of action is AUGUST 2nd! We, 50501 Omaha and other local activist organizations, will be gathering at 72nd and Dodge in Omaha, NE.

Rage Against The Regime is a national day of nonviolent action to respond to the attacks posed on our civil and human rights by the Trump administration and to remind them that in America, the power lies with the people.

From voter suppression bills like the SAVE Act to the criminalization of protest, the Trump administration is launching a full-scale attack on our civil and human rights. But we know the truth: in America, the power lies with the people, and we’re rising to prove it.

This is more than a protest; it’s a moral reckoning and a new front in the struggle for freedom.

Please note: A core principle behind our Rage Against The Regime actions is a commitment to nonviolence in all we do. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

We here in Omaha, Nebraska, along with millions of others across the U.S. and beyond, will not stand for any violations of our constitutional rights. We must organize, educate, and MOBILIZE to protect ourselves, our families, friends, and neighbors. Let's all show up at 72nd and Dodge, August 2nd, to remind those in power who would have us feeling isolated and powerless the #1 truth they must never forget: The people united can never be divided!

The bigger these events, the more they cost to organize. 50501 Omaha would be extremely grateful for any amount you are able to donate. If you cannot donate, we encourage you to share this fundraiser on social media or among friends.

All proceeds will go towards 50501 Omaha's organizing expenses such as (but not limited to) event permits, rental equipment, promotional materials, hired staff, and/or potential fines and fees.

Thank you so so so much for any help you are able to provide. Let's get out there and show them what democracy looks like!
